Last week the FortiTech team attended the Leader Technology Expo at the Brisbane Technology Park Convention Centre.

The roadshow featured over 50 vendor stalls along with 7 education seminars from WatchGuard, Teltonika, Ubiquiti, Breeze Connect, Microsoft, and Intel presenting on everything from Servers to VoIP.

Of note from the education sessions, was Matthew See, Sales Manager, Asia Pacific at WatchGuard Technologies.  Matthew wowed the crowd with his tales from the frontline fighting cyber criminals. Matthew warned that cyber criminals were getting even more advanced and developing enterprise editions of hacking software specifically targeting business IoT (business devices connected to the internet such as fish tank monitors at a casino in this instance) – there is nothing fishy about this story - read the news article here 

All in all, the Expo provided a great opportunity to see and hear about a wide range of products and services in the market at the moment, some of which like the Fanvil IP phones will feature in the every growing FortiTech product range.
